OLD DAIRY - facilities and accommodation
Believed to date back to the 16th century, The Old Dairy is situated in a sheltered courtyard within the grounds of Plas Cadnant, overlooking the herb garden and adjacent to the 'Brew House'. Oak and slate is once again the theme in keeping with the rest of the cottages.
The dining hall is a spacious room. The dining table can accommodate up to eight people if required. The well appointed kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washer/dryer etc. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with an adjacent shower room, w.c. and basin for those who find stairs difficult.
The main bedroom, again furnished with antiques, has a splendid wooden king size four poster bed and overlooks the courtyard. The charming single bedroom has an antique brass bed and a window seat with views over the historic gardens. The adjacent bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower, w.c. and basin. Fuel is by meter reading.
